Not an easy beach to access but certainly worth the trip because it's very secluded and very beautiful.

Papa'a Bay Beach is located in the Anahola area on the northeast side of Kaua'i. Papa'a Bay isn't the easiest to access but once you know where to go it's really not too bad.
Keep in mind that it does involve a 10 minute hike and then another 10 minutes to walk over quite a few boulders. It's not the best beach for smaller kids because of the bolder hopping you have to do. Blame the person who built the $30 million estate behind the beach that blocked access, something the locals are not at all happy about.
From the Kuhio Highway turn onto Kapa'a Road and then a right onto Kalalea Drive and then a left onto Kalalea View. Take that to the end, turn right and parking will be at the end of that road. Park your car and then walk back up the direct road where you'll find the trailhead.
The map above shows the route the path takes.
Once over on the beach there's a good chance you'll have it all or mostly to yourself. The views here are amazing and the water is a gorgeous shade of blue. Keep in mind that there are no facilities here.
