Kepuhi Beach, or Kepuhi Point as it's also called, is a pretty good beach for snorkeling on a calm day but can be known for strong currents so swimmers beware. You'll find it in the Hanalei area on the north shore of Kaua'i.
This is a pretty long stretch of sandy beach with lovely blue waters but also very reefy which can make water access difficult in many spots.
Kepuhi Beach is often empty but easy to get to via the path at the east end of Alamoo Road, see our map / directions page. There are very few parking options there so the other option is to park off the Kuhio Highway further to the southeast where the road parallels the beach and ocean.
