Maui Tacos is a chain of quick serve Mexican style restaurants in Hawaii and on the mainland.
This location is in a little strip mall in the Lahaina town area and is pretty tiny so there is no indoor seating here, just some patio tables and chairs outside the restaurant.
You'll find a variety of tacos, burritos, nachos, and other such common Mexican dishes. I had a taquito combo dish which came with 6 chicken taquitos and some rice, beans, and chips for a reasonable $8.45. I also got a crunchy shredded beef taco for a slightly pricey $4.25. Soda was also a little pricey at $3. They have a pretty nice salsa bar here with several salsa options for your chips or food.
The service here was very friendly and welcoming, a bit of a rarity in the fast food world, and the food was delicious. I love Maui Tacos and this is just one more case of good food and good service at fairly reasonable prices.
