Kalani is a retreat center that’s nestled on the yoga coast in one of Hawaii's largest conservation areas for over 35 years. They feature more than 40 classes a week, including their renowned yoga and meditation programming, Hawaiian culture classes, and dance (hula, modern, and aerial).
Kalani is located five minutes from Kehena Beach, a clothing-optional black sand beach where wild-spinner dolphins frequently swim. And the retreat is nestled in a rainforest, which helps feed their organic kitchens with fruit and vegetables.
Accommodations have no heating and air-conditioning and rooms have more screens than windows in order to maximize airflow and views. There’s also a full-service spa, where guests can enjoy massages, body treatments, and facials. Recreational amenities include two spa tubs, sauna, and fitness facility. This resort also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services, meeting rooms and a gift shop.
Additionally, guests can get to nearby shops on a shuttle (surcharge) – and the resort also offers free parking.
Rooms
Kalani offers individually decorated guestrooms with complimentary wireless Internet access, bathrooms with shower/tub combinations and complimentary toiletries. Room conveniences include desks, and housekeeping provided daily.
Pool and Recreation
Kalani has a (clothing-optional) saltwater pool that’s heated to near body temperature - as well as two Jacuzzis, a sauna, two volleyball courts and activity rooms. Additionally, there are massage rooms that are located in a quiet building overlooking a pond.
On-site Dining
There’s a casual open-air dining lanai (veranda) which offers a view of the grounds while guests dine - and a café is also on-site for light snacks and coffee.
On-site Shopping
Kalani has a gift shop that is stocked with a selection of Hawaiian crafts, clothing, snacks and personal hygiene items.
