Ohana Waikiki West - Hotels On Oahu Honolulu, Hawaii

The Ohana Waikiki West has permanently close and in its place is the new Hilton Garden Inn Waikiki Beach.

The 661 rooms at the Ohana Waikiki West hotel offer a decent location and an overall good value with rooms that start around the $100 per night range (even a bit cheaper in some cases).

The hotel isn't on the beach, and while their website will claims it's only two blocks away it's really more like four blocks as the crow flies (and five if you aren't a crow and must walk).

The two blocks they list is a technicality based on how the streets are set up but when walking it's about 1/3 of a mile before you reach Waikiki Beach (Main / Center). Not a deal breaker but I think it's important you know the details.

This hotel does have a pool along with their Cabana poolside bar so you can lounge around with a mai-tai. Internet access is included but parking will run you an additional $25 per day.

Dining options include Chili's, Nashville Waikiki, and a Starbucks.
