Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa is a massive resort property with 1,230 rooms to offer. Not only are the twin towers of the hotel some of the biggest of the hotels around here, the hotel also has a huge footprint and a very large shopping mall inside. The mall is home to over 60 exclusive shops.

Speaking of rooms, there are several room types to cover most needs. They even have "PURE – Hypo-Allergenic Rooms" which are designed to provide a better night's sleep for all guests, but especially those with allergy problems. Neat concept.

The resort also has restaurants (see Japengo and Shor American Seafood Grill), a nice pool area with a hot tub, and lovely ocean views. What you can't find in the resort property you'll likely find just steps away in the general Waikiki area.

This is a Camp Hyatt location so kids between ages 3 and 12 get their own bit of vacation fun through various activities and adventures. Hyatt does the camp stuff so well that this is often the highlight of any trip for my kids.

This Hyatt property is also happy to welcome those in the LGBT community and can help with gay friendly locations, tours, and activities. Internet and parking are available for an additional fee.
