Aston Waikiki Circle Hotel - Hotels On Oahu Honolulu, Hawaii

Let's start with the location, because that's one thing this hotel really has going for it. It's located right across the street from the beach and right between Waikiki Beach (Main / Center) and Kuhio Beach Park @ Waikiki which are both great beaches. You're really at the heart of Waikiki here so most of what Waikiki has to offer is a short walk away.

Beyond location it doesn't stand out to me as anything special, but it's a budget hotel so that's okay. You can stay in the middle of Waikiki, across the street from great beaches, close to everything, and all for under $200 or so a night (I've seen rates down to about $150 a night here, possibly cheaper if you find a really good deal).

Of course, they will hit you up for a resort fee of around $18 per night (or amenity fee as they call it here). That fee will give you free Internet access in your room, some free plastic beach toys if you have kids, in room coffee, access to a Playstation 3 for games and movies, and not a whole lot else really. If you have a car you'll pay to park it here as well.

The circular shape hotel was built to resemble a Chinese lantern and has 104 rooms over its 14 floors. Those with an ocean view will offer spectacular views. The rooms might be a bit on the small side as well at only 245 square feet (average). That small size means you'll only get two double beds (no queens) to squeeze into.
