He'eia State Park is located in Kaneohe Bay just south of the He'eia Boat Harbor. The area on the mauka (mountain) side of the street is part of the park as well but it's all heavily forested land so the actual attraction here is the park on the makai (ocean) side of the street.

The park itself is nice and has some great scenery and ocean views. It also has a large banquet hall you can rent out for parties, weddings, etc. There is also some water access here if you want to take a kayak and/or snorkel tour from here.

The grounds are nice and neat to walk around it but not really all that big. You will see stray cats and chickens running around. A plus for some, a negative for others I suppose but kids will probably think that's neat to see.

Speaking of kids, there isn't any sort of playground or equipment for them to play on here; it's not that kind of park. There are some neat fruit bearing trees on the property as well which might be fun for kids to see.
