The Mauian - Boutique Beach Studios On Napili Bay - Hotels On Maui Lahaina, Hawaii

The Mauian covers two lush acres of land located right on Napili Bay Beach so you're always steps away from an excellent beach. The property here is very nice and well taken care of. There is a nice peacefulness to it all, and that's really the idea here. Peace and quiet, rest and relaxation.

Of course, some may view the tactics used to achieve this level of serenity as going a bit far. I'm referring to the fact that the guest rooms here do not have any televisions, stereos, or phones.

I enjoy tranquility as much as the next guy and I'm sure at one point in time this policy made some sense. But these days we all have cell phones, we all have iDevices or smart phones that play music, and we all have phones, laptops, or tablets that stream movies. By not offering these items in the room doesn't really seem like a plus to me. Besides, when I travel I like to watch some of the local channels on TV!

Assuming you're okay with the no TV situation, you're sure to enjoy this location and they'll even set you up with stand up paddle board lessons, tours, and so on to keep you entertained.

This is a small boutique style hotel with only 44 studio and hotel rooms in three two story buildings. All of the studio rooms have kitchens.

I like that they offer a daily complimentary continental breakfast and wish all hotels did this. You can also walk next door to the Sea House Restaurant.
