We love the Mahana and this was our fourth stay, our second stay in #405. Mahana has everything going for it - ocean front units, adequate pool, free parking, no resort fees, and it's at the north end of Kaanapali Beach! #405 is a one bedroom, two bath unit, with full kitchen, w/d facilities, etc. It's everything we need for a perfect vacation. The carpet in the living room and the sectional was new last year but is looking a bit tired, or ready for a good clean, but other than that, everything was great as usual!

Aston Mahana has an overall rating of 4.5 stars from over 1000 reviews. Almost unanimously the ocean views were lauded as being spectacular and great. Many were pleased with the customer service and cleanliness of the rooms. However, some expressed distaste at the fact that they had to go off the resort grounds for certain activities – and others stated that the resort does not seem kid-friendly. Additionally, a few said their rooms were not as they expected but smaller.
