Located on Kuhio Avenue, just a few blocks inland from Waikiki beach which isn't bad but also a bit northwest of Waikiki Beach (Main / Center). Still an easy walk to the beach.
The Marriott property is very nice inside and they have a well maintained lobby, pool area, and we were pleasantly surprised with all of their public areas in general. It's the safety of a big name hotel chain combined with budget prices.
This is also a good option for businesses travelers who want to avoid huge crowds and have some places to work. They have a spa, lobby bar, and even a Kimobean Coffee onsite.
