Launiupoko Beach Park is an interesting beach since it has a pretty unique, manmade protected area which is great for the keiki (kids). Other than that area, the beach isn't really a great place to come for a swim.
The park area is nice and has a lot of shady and grassy areas so it's a nice place for a picnic.
This is a popular park with locals so while the lot is big, it will fill up, especially on weekends.
