Palauea Beach, or simply White Rock as it's also known, is an easy to find beach located in south Maui. See our map pin point on the directions page for the exact location. You'll need to park (legally) on the side of Makena Road as there is no public parking lot.
Once parked, follow the short path to the beach. The beach itself is likely to be pretty empty most of the time but on weekends you can expect more people to be here. In fact, the best thing about this beach is how empty it is.
There really isn't much here in the way of facilities or amenities. While there is a bathroom here, it's a disgusting port-a-potty that you'll probably want to only use the most extreme of emergencies.
