Anini Beach Park is a good beach for the whole family. It's easy to get to and located along in the town of Kilauea on the north shore of Kaua'i.
This beach is unique as it is protected by Hawaii's longest reef. That means the waters here are usually calm which makes for pretty good snorkeling, swimming, and generally good times hanging out at the beach. The fact that it is protected from the open ocean also makes it a good beach for the keiki (kids).
Anini Beach has a huge grassy lawn, shady areas, picnic tables, showers, and bathrooms. While the locals visit here, especially on weekends, it never feels crowded. That's because the beach itself is quite long so you should easily be able to find a spot to call your own for the day, even when it's busy.
The water here can be super clear and very blue when the sun is out and makes for a beautiful view. If you're visiting Kaua'i, then Anini Beach Park is not to be missed.
