Hale Vietnam is a restaurant that serves tasty Pho. It's a good restaurant, with great service, but finding a place to park is rough since you'll have to park on the street, or in one of the two adjacent paid parking lots. During peak hours, there is a line out the door.

Hale Vietnam is one of the more popular Vietnamese restaurant in Kaimuki, which is mostly frequented by locals. Be prepared to wait because there usually is a line waiting to be seated.
Hale Vietnam has tasty pho dishes, but some of of the other items on the menu aren't as good. Their spring rolls (called Imperial Rolls) are not something I'd serve to an emperor. It was dry and tasteless. The seafood soup was no winner either as it was fishy and bland. Not impressed. But I think Hale Vietnam has some of the best tasting pho broth in town. It’s very flavorful - not too salty, not too gamey. So, I don't take chance when I go to Hale Vietnam - I order the pho every time.
The service is prompt and friendly. The price is a little higher than other pho places.
I would give 5 stars for the pho but I'm giving 3.5 stars for overall taste and parking.
