Leftovers Beach Park is located oni Oahu's north shore and has some sand but is very rocky overall which makes getting in the water fairly difficult. Once in, there are still a lot of reefy bits all over so it's generally not a great place to swim.
It can be a fun place to just watch the ocean, especially when winter waves are pounding, but doesn't offer the average beachgoer much more than that.
If you're a surfer then this may be a place for you. The name Leftovers came about because this site is actually a "second choice" surf spot compared to other nearby hotspots like Waimea Bay Beach Park.
If you want to check it out just park where we marked the directions page and you'll find little trails that lead down to the beach area. Leftovers is easy to find along the Kamehameha Highway in Haleiwa.
