Keolonahihi State Historical Park is an ancient site where Hawaiian warriors were said to practice their surfing skills. Supposedly, at least according to legend, this is the place where King Kamehameha learned to surf.
There is supposed to be the remains of an ancient Heiau somewhere in here but the area is mostly overgrown today and public access may be limited.
