A tour of the home and is an interesting look at Kauai life from many years ago. In front of the house is the Waioli Huiia Church which was founded in 1834 and is another icon of Hanalei.
It's said that the wall clock inside was installed in 1866 and still keeps perfect time today. Note that tours are offered on a first come, first served basis.
