Matt Anderson's Take
Top of Waikiki only offers dinner service and they do have a bit of a dress code so no beach wear, no tank tops, etc. Parking is available in the Waikiki Business Plaza building (same building the restaurant is in) and they will validate your parking.

The restaurant does actually rotate a full 360 degrees. Don't worry about getting sick, it moves very slowly at a rate of one revolution per hour so you should get a full 360 view of the course of a dinner.

It's a pretty large restaurant and can seat over 200 guests on three levels but be sure to make reservations to be safe as this place is pretty popular.

The food here is what they are calling Pacific Rim cuisine. So they'll have various steak dishes, seafood dishes, chicken dishes, and so on. It's high end food and a high end meal overall.

The view from the Top of Waikiki at sunset is absolutely breathtaking. It takes 1 hour for the restaurant to make a full spin around so you'll be able to get different views of the city. Besides the perfect ambience the service was excellent. My Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly and the Day Boat Scallops were amazing. A special way to end the day.

This place is pretty awesome. If you're in Waikiki and you've never been, I definitely recommend it. The best time is probably before sunset so you can get a great 360 degree view of the island. The views can't be beat. And it's pretty cool to be spinning while you're eating. Don't worry... It's not fast. One minute you're looking at Waikiki beach and 15 minutes later you're facing diamond head. Pretty cool.

Worth a visit for the experience of the revolving restaurant. We headed up to the bar for Happy Hour. My companions and I enjoyed both the expertly concocted, inspired cocktails and the 360 degree views of Waikiki. It is worth the price of a cocktail for the view alone.

I received very nice service! Overall the food was good but not quite enough for the price; I love the way the tower spins but it could have been higher up. I recommend the shrimp lobster and steak meal for two, it was amazing! It is a different and romantic atmosphere.

The Top of Waikiki restaurant is a pleasurable place to have a good meal and enjoy a fantastic view of the city, beach and ocean. It is a revolving restaurant so the view is constantly changing, I think they said it does a full rotation in 30 minutes. The food that my wife and order was good but a little pricey but worth it for the view while enjoying a night out in Hawaii. I would recommend trying it once, they have a bar in the center so you can go for a drink and appetizers if you do not want to spring for a full meal.

A wonderful experience in dining. The food was very good, however small portions for high price. The view is the best in Waikiki to say the least! We found the best way to enjoy this unique restaurant is to go for Happy Hour. They have the very best Mai Tai at great Happy Hour price. The food choice for Happy Hour is limited but very tasty and very affordable. Can't wait to return!

Very fun place to eat with amazing views. Service was at its best and the food was as well. Coconut shrimp and fillet mignon were perfect. What a nice way to have a meal as long as you're not in a rush.

Top of Waikiki is generally review fairly high with a lot of 5 star reviews and an overall 4 star rating by hundreds of reviewers.

We do see a few 2 and 3 star reviews, often complaining about the service more than any food issues, but they seem to be fairly isolated.
