A beautifully formed sea arch at Volcanoes National Park.

• General: Photo Opportunity

Matt Anderson's Take
Located at the end of Chain of Craters road at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, a short path toward the ocean leads to a lookout overlooking the Holei Sea Arch. The arch is approximately 90 ft high. It is thought to have been formed within the last 100 years.

Unfortunately, the arch won't last forever. It will eventually crumble away into the ocean. But another one will be formed in the future for your great, great grand children to enjoy one day.

You must check this out! Holei sea arch is just awesome. Make sure you take your camera as the view is to die for. Water is crystal clear and just gorgeous to see. We had a great day seeing this. Make sure you stop by.

This is worth checking out when you come to the end of Chain of Craters Road. It's a nice spot and the arch offers a picture opportunity, although it certainly isn't the most spectacular sight you will see in the National Park. When I was there, it was a beautiful day and the colour of the ocean was incredible.

It's a good spot to grab a photo while exploring the Volcanoes National Park. We drove quite a ways to take these photos, but I wouldn't consider this a "must see".
