Uncle Tetsu's Cheesecake is a dessert chain that is popular in Japan and finally opening a restaurant in Hawaii. The restaurant will be located at Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. They'll serve original Japanese cheesecakes, cookies, biscotti, and tea.
The Uncle Tetsu's Cheesecake chain is owned by Panda Restaurant Group, the same company that owns the Panda Express and Panda Inn food chains. This particular Waikiki location is owned by Andrew and Peggy Cherng who are the founders of Panda Restaurant Group.
