The Hoopulapula Haraguchi Rice Mill is recognized on the National Register of Historic Places and is the only remaining rice mill in Hawaii. It has an agrarian museum to educate visitors and children with an eco tour. Chinese immigrants first built the mill back in the 1800s. In 1924, the Haraguchi family purchased the mill and has worked to preserve it for people to enjoy today.
