This small museum houses a permanent display of "Keepers of the Culture" which is a collection of historic photographs and exhibits that are intended to encourage dialogue and cultivate an interest in learning more about Kauai's history.
The staff here are available to answer any questions you have on Kauai's history and culture as well as general information such as directions or recommendations on things to do and see.
They have a gift shop that sells items like Niihau shell jewelry, photographs, and educational books. Free internet access for residents as well as visitors. Faxing, scanning, and printing services are also available for a small fee.
