Full Description
MauiWine used to be called Tedeschi Winery. It's the same place it's been for many years under an easier to remember (and spell) name. They even offer free wine tastings and make pineapple wine!

A most excellent surprise on Maui! We were very happy with the offerings of both red and white wines and bought half a case on the spot. We very much enjoyed the Mele, Maui Splash and the Malbec, a varietal which isn't grown much outside of Argentina. They also offer a couple of sparkling wines if you should have an occasion to celebrate. The grounds are quite nice and you can enjoy a very scenic drive to the winery. This is one of only two vineyard in Hawaii, so if you have the chance to visit, do so.

If you've not been here, it's a must! What an amazing find. A sweet tasting room, explanation of the wines the make. This year we experienced the "jail" - former jail where they have their Estate wines and relate the history of the jail. The wines, from Maui Blanc (my favorite) which is a white to reds, champagne, and dessert wines. Very subtle pineapple undertones in the whites and champagne. We've visit every year now, tasting, order and ship home. This was a great "find" by chance and I think a must for anyone, particularly wine drinkers.

We went to the winery on our last visit to Maui. Loved seeing the wine being made and of course tasting it later. I think we bought them out of that day's wine. Plus we get their newsletter and have ordered more off of their website. Love the different varieties of wine they have too!
