Full Description
Kaneohe Beach Park is located on Oahu's east side where the Kaneohe Stream empties into the ocean. Facilities here include a big grass area, bathrooms, showers, picnic tables with shade from large trees, and children's playground equipment.

Ironically enough, there is no sandy beach at this beach park but it can be a good place to launch a small boat or kayak. The water here tends to be quite murky since a stream empties out in this area. It's important to never swim in murky water since sharks tend to prefer murky water.

Kaneohe Beach Park is one of those beaches you can just flat out skip. Sure, it has a large grassy area and a kids playground area but it's not very well maintained. The big issue is the beach, or lack of a beach. There is no sand here, just graveling and dirt and plenty of ocean. The ocean water is pretty murky, nothing you would want to swim in. So, just sit this one out and leave it for the locals who use it.

This is not really a beach, but a small neighborhood park beside the ocean. Less than stellar beach park. Although it's a decent park for locals to take their children, I wouldn't recommend this beach park for anyone living outside the neighborhood.

There are restrooms, a small playground, a slanted grassy area, and that's about it. The ocean is adjacent to the park, with limited parking and less than ideal conditions to play in the water. It's murky, and best for shore fishing, or taking a small boat out to drop a line. Far better beaches elsewhere.
