The Nook Neighborhood Bistro is located inside the Puck's Alley on University Ave. They serve breakfast, brunch and lunch. They have very interesting dishes like Malasada Breakfast Sandwich made with house made sausage and fried egg on a malasada bun or Haupia Oatmeal with coconut milk rolled oats, apple bananas and coco nibs.
We ordered Kale Benedict and Kabocha Spinach salad. The Kale Benedict is made with 2 poached eggs, sauteed kale and hollandaise sauce on an English muffin. Very tasty. The Kabocha Spinach salad was fresh and good but nothing exceptional. The prices are reasonable for fresh ingredients.
The restaurant has a small indoor sitting area and few tables outside. It's a popular place so expect to wait to get a table. You'll also have pay for parking if you park at the Puck's Alley but on Sundays, parking is free.
