Bevy - Restaurants On Oahu Honolulu, Hawaii

Bevy is very much the trendy bar that it is trying to be but it's not really my style. They do have some interesting cocktails but it's just super loud inside. When the DJ is there it only gets louder. It's also really dark and, while I'm not saying it was dirty, it's just not the cleanest place I've ever seen.

In addition to some pretty unique cocktails they also serve tapas and other dishes with Spanish influences. We'll try the food at another time but for this review we just stopped in for drinks. The drinks we ordered, Moscow Mules, were tasty but served in copper "glasses" and since they were filled with ice the entire copper glass was freezing cold to hold and drink from. Want a straw instead? They're big on not wasting plastic straws (cool!) and will give you one made of metal (that you'll be required to give back!).

So, let's wrap this up. Tasty drinks but it felt like it was 90% ice. Service is fine, but it's just too dark and too loud (or maybe I'm too old). It's trendy, good for the 20-something crowd.
