The Royal Hawaiian Band has been around for over 175 years and was founded way back in 1836 by King Kamehameha III, and once know as the King's Band, so it's the only band in the USA with a royal legacy. Their mission is to promote and foster music, preserve Hawaiian musical culture, inspire young musicians, and enrich the lives of the people of Hawaii.

The Royal Hawaiian Band performs and marches in over 300 concerts and parades each year including: city, state, and military functions; schools, community centers, shopping malls, retirement communities, graduations, and private events. Weekly public performances are held on Fridays at Iolani Palace and Sundays at Kapiolani Park.

Be sure to catch one of their shows!
