Mokuleia Beach Park - Beaches On Oahu Waialua, Hawaii

Mokuleia Beach Park is located towards the west end of the north shore of O'ahu in the city of Waialua, right across from Dillingham Airfield, but isn't as nice as some of the other options around here.

While the grassy park area is huge, the sandy beach area is quite rocky and reefy in most spots though there are some less rocky areas where you can get in the water. Of course, this is the north shore so winter waves can be very dangerous so only go in if the ocean is calm and note that there is no lifeguard here.

There are showers here but the bathrooms are port-o-potty style units so this one is not very good on the facilities list. This beach is not used very much so it's a decent place to sit and watch the ocean and some areas will have some good snorkeling when things are calm.

Just a bit further west down the road is YMCA Camp Erdman, home to the "others" village on the popular Lost TV show. Fans can even stop in and have their picture taken in the DHARMA Initiative logo / sign.

Just a bit further than that is the start of the popular Ka'ena Point Trail - North Shore to the Ka'ena Point Bird Sanctuary.
