Kaluanui Beach is a small strip of sand located right next to the Kamehameha Highway in the Hauula area on the windward side of O'ahu.
Kaluanui Beach does have a nice grassy area where you can sit and relax and enjoy some ocean views. As for the sandy beach, it all depends on the tides. At high tide the sand will be wet or completely underwater. At lower tides there should be some to play on.
There is a brick retaining wall with steps to take you onto the beach. I really like this beach for it's beauty, but it's just not always accessible due to the tide. There is limited parking, but has not been a problem when I've tried to park.
