This is a large park just east of Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) and thus a good place to hang out if you've arrived too early to the airport and haven't returned your rental car yet. It has a huge grassy area, baseball and sports fields, and tennis courts.
It does have a newer slide and playground area for smaller kids if you have some that need to burn off some energy. The beach area isn't really much of a beach, and although there is a sandy area you wouldn't want to go in this murky water. This is good place where canoes and kayaks can be launched.
