Ulehawa Beach Park is very large beach, at well over a mile long, but large portions of the beach are very rocky and reefy. If you plan to visit this beach you'll want to stick to the southernmost end of the beach (which is what we marked on the map / directions page).
Of course, even that part isn't really all that spectacular compared to other beaches in the area that will offer better swimming.
This beach has a lifeguard and full facilities though the north end bathrooms aren't always maintained very well. For such a large beach, the parking area isn't all that big.
There are some grassy areas as well as shady area along with showers and picnic tables as well. The southern end of the beach is also known as Depot Beach or Depoz Beach (how the cool kids spell it).
