Full Description
Ulehawa Beach Park is very large beach, at well over a mile long, but large portions of the beach are very rocky and reefy. If you plan to visit this beach you'll want to stick to the southernmost end of the beach (which is what we marked on the map / directions page).

Of course, even that part isn't really all that spectacular compared to other beaches in the area that will offer better swimming.

This beach has a lifeguard and full facilities though the north end bathrooms aren't always maintained very well. For such a large beach, the parking area isn't all that big.

There are some grassy areas as well as shady area along with showers and picnic tables as well. The southern end of the beach is also known as Depot Beach or Depoz Beach (how the cool kids spell it).

North end has scary bathrooms. The swimming here can be okay but usually isn't great. Overall, you can do better than this beach.

Nice reefs to explore, and some sandy sections make this an adequate beach, but there are better ones down the road. Good location for fishing and snorkeling.

You can do better than this beach, it's just not all that appealing in any way and usually isn't all that clean either. Move along.
