If you're traveling on the windward side of O'ahu on the weekend, just outside of Kaneohe in Kahaluu, sits a lunch truck next to the Hygienic Store. You'll see a sign beside the road - Holo Holo Stop.
Holo Holo means "vacation" or "rest day". The lunch truck owner is a fun, colorful local bruddah who can talk up a storm and cook up a mean lau lau.
