A really nice small community park that would be even nicer if there wasn't highway overpass above it.

If Moanalua Community Park was a comic book character, it would be "Two Face". It's an older park with large trees and an open grassy area. There's a children's playground with a fenced off dog friendly area. Unfortunately, the park is located below a traffic overpass with all the loud noise that goes with it. The basketball courts are located directly underneath the highway overpass.
If you stand in the middle of the park and look to the right, it feels like you're visiting a poor urban neighborhood park in Chicago. But turn your head to the left and you're in one of the beautiful landscaped Hawaiian parks you'd see in a travel guide. Two different vibes in one place.
On the positive side, it's a good place to cool dry place to play basketball and have sun protection from the overpass.
