Kahuku Golf Course - Activities On Oahu Kahuku, Hawaii

The course is fairly flat, and not too challenging. There are trees that line the sides of the course. The course is located beside the ocean, which is lovely and relaxing. There isn't enough room here to accommodate a standard 18 hole course, but it's surely nice enough for visitors to enjoy it's setting. If there was double the space, and a world class course designer were to take a crack at crafting this course, it would be one of the greats.

There's a small putting green for practicing your short game. The course is seldom busy, so you shouldn't have a problem getting a tee time. The building on the grounds is very dilapidated. Definitely due for a renovation, but then again, since this course is off the radar for most golfers, it adds to the charm. For locals on the North Shore, its an affordable alternative to luxurious Turtle Bay Resort - Arnold Palmer Golf Course.

Although the signs say that loitering is prohibited around the clubhouse or parking lot, I did notice a lot of people come to the parking lot, eat a plate lunch, and enjoy the peaceful views of the course with Kahuku Beach in the background. There is a small trail beside the parking lot that leads around the perimeter of the course. There's a small graveyard along the way. The trail is an alternate way to avoid golfers if you're trying to access Kahuku Beach.

Sporty, seaside, links course located in the community of Kahuku on the North Shore of Oahu. Can be a real challenge when the wind blows.

Located 40 miles from downtown Honolulu an approximately 75 minute drive from Waikiki hotels. About 5 minutes from Turtel Bay Resort.
