Crystal Cove is more of a dive site than a beach since it doesn't have any actual sandy beach. Instead, the shoreline is very rocky and rough and not a good place to enter the water from. Some boat tours stop here for scuba diving which is the best way to see it.
It's known for a large density of tropical fish but only worth diving when things are calm. You are also like to spot manta rays, dolphins, eels, and even Honu - The Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle.
If that's not for you it's still a neat place to stop at as the views are beautiful so it makes for a great scenic lookout and photo opportunity. Parking is pretty limited to what you can find along the side of the road but chances are nobody else will be here anyhow.
