Keawaiki Bay Beach is never crowded because it is difficult to get to. Off of Highway 19 just north of mile marker 79 there is a lava rock road that you need to drive along. When the road end you need to follow along a fence. It is about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the car.
Snorkeling is good here when the ocean is calm. There also a lot of tide pools here.
