Ka'upulehu Beach is located at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka'upulehu. If you're driving here, you need to stop at the guard shack and ask for a pass. If the public parking lot is full they will not let you in. The parking often fills up first thing in the morning and there are only a few spots available.
The shore is lined with lava rocks making this more of a wading than a swimming beach. The beach is almost always crowded with guests of the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka'upulehu. The beach is about a 10 minute walk from the parking lot.
Don't expect any facilities here other than a shower that's located on the property of the Four Seasons, and they probably wouldn't appreciate you using it unless you're a guest.
