White Sands Beach has many names, it is also known as "Disappearing Sands and Magic Sands Beach Park".
During high surf the shorebreak erodes very quickly and washes away all the sand leaving only the lava rocks behind. Which is why Disappearing Sands it one on it's names.
Swimming is good here when the sea is calm. Surfing and body boarding is good during the winter months.
