Senior Pepes - Restaurants On Oahu Honolulu, Hawaii

I'm a little embarrassed to gush over a fast food place but Senior Pepe's is actually really good food and I can't seem to get enough of it. It's not as fast-foody as a Taco Bell and it's not real Mexican food either. It's just good American style Mexican made fast.

They have great tacos here, either traditional or the steak filled street tacos. The enchiladas, burritos, nachos, and pretty much everything we've had here is just really good tasting food. To be fair, some of the items (ground beef, etc) might be a little on the greasy side (though still delicious!) but other items (steak) feel very high quality for the fast food prices.

One look at this place and you'll think it is a typical Taco Bell clone yet there seems to be only one Senior Pepe's around and it is this one in the Ala Moana Center mall food court. That might be a good thing because if they ever put one of these near Kapolei I might suddenly weight 50 pounds more.

Either way, out of all of the fast food court style choices this is the one I pick almost every time and I've even made the trip here from Kapolei (virtually all the way across the island that is) just to have lunch here. Like I said, it's a bit embarrassing.
