Hugely popular breakfast restaurant with locals and tourists. A few unique offerings and the food is good here, but maybe not as good as what the lines and hype would suggest.

Cinnamon's is one of those really popular places among locals and tourists alike which means long waits to get a table more often than not. Reservations are accepted and recommended and, at least in our case, got us seated on a busy weekend morning with zero wait time. Note that they only serve breakfast and lunch.

The seating area is fairly small considering the crowd that is attracted here. Since it is located in a strip mall it's a bit of an odd arrangements with some seating inside and some outside in the middle of the open air mini-mall. Overall, it's a pretty run down building with netting to keep birds out and if you have to use the public bathrooms here then, well, maybe you should hold it instead.

The service is pretty good and fast here though you can't help feeling a bit rushed as the servers fly around as if they just gulped down a gallon of pancake syrup. It's obvious that they want to keep the cattle line moving to get as many people in line a chance to sit and eat as possible so it's hard to blame them for the rushed feeling.

As for the food, we have mixed feelings here. It's certainly not bad but it seems like it's a bit overhyped. Sure, their various specialty pancakes (red velvet anyone?) are tasty (though dry to some of us) while other items like their nachos were boring and bland. Prices are more than fair at least.

If you are out this way (east coast that is) then it's probably a fun place to eat at for breakfast rather than lunch but it just feels like one of those places everyone eats at simply because they've heard it mentioned and seen it advertised all over the place rather than because the food is really all that special.
