Kilauea District Park is a great place for sports or just letting the kids run around. You'll find it near Diamond Head State Monument so it's a good place to hang out for those in your group that don't want to do the Diamond Head Summit Trail. They'll find plenty of shady, grassy areas to hang out or play in. If you stopped by the KCC Farmers Market, this is a short walk away and a good place to sit and eat any food you purchased.
