Anaeho'omalu Bay Beach, or A Bay (or A Beach) as it's often called, is a great beach for those in the Waikoloa resort area on Hawaii's Big Island. It's directly behind the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa and south of the Hilton Waikoloa Village.

This gem of a beach is great for families and hugely popular with locals and visitors alike. The center of the beach is the best part to play in the sand or swim in the water. Snorkeling can be good here if you head off to the right side but the water usually isn't super clear here.

The waters here are usually very calm since the area is protected by an offshore reef. This is a great beach for many water sports such as kayaking and wind surfing. The beach also a workout area and volleyball net

There are also some fishponds here at Anaeho'omalu Bay Beach that you can check out. They were created by the ancient Hawaiians and are pretty interesting to see. Follow the paths around them for a fun stroll.

As for parking, there aren't tons of good options here but your best bet is like to be at the end of Kuualii Place which is at the south end of the beach and large fishpond.

Parking can be difficult at A Beach. On either side of the bay are access roads with a few street parking spots. You'll have a quarter-mile walk to the center of A Beach, but it's a nice walk along the lava path and beautiful homes.
