I have been walking on Kauai path for a few weeks. I love it! I walk the northern end of the path. If you start at the bathrooms at Kealia beach it is a 3.6 mile round trip to the end of the paved path. After that, the path does continue, but it is a dirt path. I'm not sure how much farther it goes. Along this part of the path, you have a gorgeous coastal view as well as some great mountain views in certain areas. This part of the path also goes by Donkey beach and Pineapple Dump, as well as a few covered rest areas with picnic tables. There are no bathrooms, though, so be sure to go to Kealia beach. The path also continues south all the way to Wailua beach. It is a great resource for locals and visitors. People use it for walking, running and bike riding.
