Bac Nam is a Vietnamese restaurant that offers a variety of house special dishes, specialty curry, hot pot, noodle soups, cold vermicelli noodles, rice plates, desserts and more. They also provide a bring-your-own-bottle policy, take reservations and offer a takeout option.
A friend of mine recommended this place for Tofu Bun (Vermicelli). We ordered 3 Bun dishes: Tofu, BBQ Pork with Spring Rolls, BBQ Shrimp with Spring Rolls. What a big disappointment it was!
The BBQ pork and shrimp were over cooked and dry. The spring rolls were fine. I like my Bun with pickled carrots and daikons. But these didn't have any of that. They had sliced cucumber, iceberg lettuce, and bean sprouts. They were tasteless. None of us enjoyed our dish.
They have parking behind the restaurant which is a nice feature since they are on busy S. King street and you can't park on the street during rush hour.
