Believe it or not, this is the place to go on Oahu if you're looking for some solid bakery items, especially scones. Yes, scones! I couldn't believe it myself, but a co-worker at Pearl Harbor brought into the office for breakfast one day the best scone I had had since I was in Ireland in the late 1990s. Aiea Bowl is one of those well-kept secrets, but I seriously would not hesitate to return here for a scone (and I'd even try some of their other offerings).

I just wanted a burger and have been wanting to try The Alley for a while now. This place is better known for it's Oxtail Soup and Coca Cola Turkey Sandwich but I wanted a burger so that's what I got. Their Alley Burger with some cheese and bacon is really good. Feels like a classic home made burger with good meat. Really good stuff, cooked just right. It's also a good size and comes with fries for around $12. A little pricey maybe but not terrible. The $3 soda was a bit pricey as well.

For dessert, the chocolate cake is pretty awesome. Super chocolaty to say the least. It's also enormous and could feed two or three people easily. It's way too much for one person to eat all at once, and the $8.50 price for one slice proves that! Service is good, staff is friendly.

One note, this is in a bowling alley and you'll both hear and feel the bowling action going on feet away from the dining area. Doesn't bother me, and it's not overly loud, but you can feel a little "thump" with every roll of a bowling ball. Don't let that stop you, just pointing it out.

The Alley Restaurant Bar & Grill has on overall rating of 4 stars from hundreds of reviews. Most customers thought the food was good – and some listed the “tasty chicken” as a must try. Many reviewers also commended the service as decent (although some thought it could've been improved), and the prices were found to be more on the higher side.

We walked in here about 10:30am and this place was already hopping! I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with waffle fries. When my food arrives my burger was missing the bacon and cheese. After we were able to flag down our waitress again she said "sorry about that, I know I keyed it in" then she took my plate and had the kitchen fix it. It's irritating when a server brings your food to you without checking to make sure that it is correct first! The burger was pretty good, not the best and not the worst I have had. The fries were great. Our server never came back to check if everything was okay. Not good. Our server was nice enough, just not completely on the ball.

We ordered the Chocolate Insanity Cake. It was delicious and rich! I should have ordered a large glass of milk to go with it! I would eat here again to try the Oxtail Soup, it seems to be a popular dish here.
