When I'm in Honolulu on Kapahulu, I'll go to Kozo Sushi because of 2 things. First it's fast and freshly made. Place your order at the counter and they will call you when it's ready, usually in a few minutes. Second, it's next to Jamba Juice and Starbucks, which is always nice when you want a couple extra options.
There are a few tables outside that are shared with Starbucks and Jamba. I often use the wifi from Starbucks when I have my computer.
In addition to spicy tuna bowl and salmon sushi, my favorite thing to order is the Spam musubi. It's simply Spam, rice, and teri sauce, but I like how they make it fresh. The rice and Spam are not dried out.
It's not the best sushi in town, but it's convenient and good. The quality is similar to Genki Sushi.
Other items they prepare include hand rolls, hosomaki, makimono, nigiri, special nigiri, donburi, bentos, specials and extras.
