This may have been the best burger I have had in the islands. I really enjoyed my visit to the Big Island Brewhaus. The beers were good, the staff was friendly and the service was quick. I wish I could have gotten burgers this good on Oahu! I have recommended the Big Island Brewhaus to my friends visiting the Big Island and will continue to do so. And it may very well be my first stop the next time I am on the island!

Fun environment with good food. Enjoyed listening to the live music outside. Favorite dish were the fish tacos. Their craft beers were very good in my opinion, but I'm hardly an expert. Also enjoyed the Ceasar Salad, which had a nice home made dressing. The staff was prompt and helpful. The overall vibe of Big Island Brewhaus is fun and friendly.

On the down side, several had complaints about the service, and thought this could be a point of improvement.

Big Island Brewhaus serves locally grown vegetables and beef and craft beer at very inexpensive price. The quality of the food was incredibly high and the prices were incredibly low. I ordered Cumin Roasted Kabocha Squash ($5), Broiled Waimea-grown Tomato ($4), and Wonton Taco ($4).

Cumin Roasted Kabocha Squash was served with 3 large pieces of kabocha squash roasted with cumin, garlic, lemon & cilantro, and topped with sour cream. It tasted so fresh and healthy (well, except for the sour cream which I didn't eat).

Broiled Waimea-Grown Tomato was served with 3 slices of vine ripened tomato broiled with Hawaii Island goat cheese topped with fresh basil and drizzled with balsamic reduction and olive oil. It was heaven.

Wonton Taco was served in a large crispy wonton shell filled with local fresh fish poke and sriracha aioli. Won bok slaw accompanied the taco. The fish was fresh and I loved the crispy wonton shell.

I couldn't believe how cheap their prices were for the quality we got. I can't wait to go back there and try different dishes.
