Chibo restaurant first started in 1967, in Japan. To date it has grown into 54 other Chibo restaurants with its largest the Okonomiyaki Chibo Restaurant in Honolulu that was opened in 1990.
The restaurant serves both Japanese and American cuisine. Their specialty is Okonomiyaki, which is a pancake composed of egg, mountain yams, flour and cabbage. Once it is done is top with Okonomiyaki sauce, seaweed powder, mayonnaise sauce, and dried bonito flakes.
They served lunch and dinner. Other dishes on their menu include appetizers and salads; lunch and dinner menu – Teppanyaki, Yakisoba and Okonomiyaki.
The restaurant takes reservation and take out. The atmosphere is casual, and the restaurant is great for individuals of all ages from adult to children.
