Teddys Bigger Burgers - Restaurants On Oahu Kapolei, Hawaii

I thought the Teddy's Bigger Burgers in Aiea had the friendliest staff, and I'm still sticking by that, but this location is probably a close second. Of course, I know that yelling "Welcome to Teddy's" as I walk into the door is just part of their job, but still, I like that they acknowledge you as you arrive.

But let's get down to what matters and that's the food. The food here is, wait for it, like every other Teddy's on the island which is delicious. One of my favorite burgers around and I like that they are all so consistent.

I tried their Kilauea Fire burger and went for the big one at 9 ounces. It comes with cheese, bacon, onion rings, and some hot sauce (which really wasn't too spicy). It's basically the same as their Western BBQ burger (which is my normal burger of choice) but swaps BBQ sauce with hot sauce. Not unique but really tasty, and I've only seen it on the list one time.

At $10 for that particular burger, it's not exactly cheap in terms of fast food but Teddy's isn't really fast food. It's somewhere between fast food and sit down restaurant but it just works well and I highly recommend you try them.

I've now been here many times since they opened and other than a few issues in getting the burger cooked to the right temperature and finding out I got cheese tater tots when I ordered chili-cheese tots it's been smooth sailing here. Delicious food, happy and friendly service, and only slightly on the expensive side. Consider me a regular.
